Description

This beautiful antique or vintage pocket watch looks like is dates from the 1900's to me. I am no watch expert, I am only going by the look of the watch and case.

The watch weighs 58.4 grams and measures 2 3/8 x 1 5/8 inches, it is 1/2 inch thick. The watch face reads “American Waltham U.S.A.”, the inside back area has this etched into it “8-2-12-12” with some unredable initials.

The watch works area says this “Puritan, 14k, 424199”, the works themselves are stamped “Safety Barrel”, 7124065 Diamond”, “Waltham Watch Co.”. I don't know the number of jewels.

The watch was recently cleaned and serviced and is running well. When I buy a pocket watch I buy them as beautiful pieces of jewelry and not so much as a watch to tell time. This one can probably serve as both.
