Description I-Gucci Collection Conceived by Creative Director Frida Giannini and initially launched in 2008, the I-Gucci collection combines cutting-edge design with an unconventional fashion attitude. Gucci’s first digital timepiece, the I-Gucci collection offers the wearer the ultimate versatility in time reading thanks to a double layout digital display that features a sleek face and multiple treatment frame, complemented by a broad, iconic rubber strap that underscores its sporty elegance. The result is a perfect combination of style and functionality – an eye-catching watch with a cosmopolitan feel. I-Gucci and Dual Time Zones All I-Gucci timepieces offer a dual time zone display, extremely convenient for travelers. Local time is digitally displayed on the lower part of the dial, while second time zone above with a digital date and city code indicator in the middle. With a flick, the screen changes quickly from its information-packed oversized digits to a streamlined version that features just two discreet digital hands for local time. All adjustments can be made quickly using lateral push buttons embedded in the smooth circular frame of the case. I-Gucci Sport XXL Collection The I-Gucci Sport XXL collections features a stately 49mm brushed steel and rubber case with four push-buttons. The bold and robust digital display can be set to show two time-zones. The dial can also be switched into analogue mode showing hands. Functions on the dial include a backlight, alarm and date. The I-Gucci Sport boasts a range of technical components including a chronograph and dual chronograph, countdown timer, tachymeter, pedometer and a sailing function specifically designed for timing regattas. For the I-Gucci Sport, Gucci Timepieces has used new combinations of materials, seen in the thick rubber bracelet, composed of perforated rubber laid over a black rubber strap.
