We contacted the manufacturer; they researched and told us that there is a mistake in some manuals.
In 'Normal Time set' part, it says 'Hold S2 for 2 seconds and press S3 once';
the correct instruction should be 'Hold S2 for 2 seconds and press S2 once'.
