The Rip Curl Detroit Midsize Automatic Watch reveals urban-industrial inspiration with exposed gears, high-grade stainless steel construction, and mechanical innovation. It is fully powered by your movement so requires no battery, and will continue to run for up to 48 hours when off your arm. It keeps precision time thanks to twenty-one synthetic rubies that serve as torque- and friction-reducing bearings. The housing and strap are made of the highest grade of stainless steel, which does not corrode or rust in marine environments, and the watch is water-resistant up to 100 meters. The Midsize watch is 6mm smaller than the larger, original Detroit watch to fit a larger range of wrist sizes. Whether you're diving underwater, or venturing around town, the watch's double-locking clasp keeps it securely on, and you'll be able to leave it to your watch to dependably keep track of time so you don't have to.
